'Cutting Teeth Collective', will be hosting our first exhibition of stills on the 7th, 8th and 9th September. I will be showing a series I shot in Brazil, 'Zika Não'.
Since the World Health Organisation declared Zika a global health emergency on 1st February 2016, international interest in the worst affected area in the World; Paraíba, North East Brazil, peaked.
In July 2016, I joined the Cruz Vermelha Brasileira (Red Cross Brazil) and the Caravana Do Coração (Heart Caravan) on a trip around Paraíba as they travelled to 14 towns to provide healthcare to residents and to conduct the largest sample of clinical laboratory data taken to date, to further the understanding of the Zika virus.
An extended version of the series will be up on my website shortly after the exhibition ends.
