Screened at Sheffield Doc/Fest 2016, and winner of a regional RTS award, 'La Deriva dei Continenti' explores the human dimension of the emergency situation of immigration across the Mediterranean towards Sicily, following in particular the charismatic figure of Aziz, a Moroccan immigrant who has become a key-member of the operations of rescue and disembarkation in one of the provinces most hit by the phenomenon, Siracusa.
